Find your part

Each action below is tied to one of the 47 sub-pillars of the framework and to an indicator on the report card of India. Nothing here asks you to back a party or a person.

How it works: tap "I will do this" on any action to create your free account in the 47 BH app with WhatsApp. The app keeps your actions on any device, reminds you to follow through and counts you on the leaderboards.

Grouped by pillar and sub-pillar. Each card says how much time it needs, who it is for, and which report card indicator it relates to. These are things to do, not evidence that the indicator has moved: the report card itself is built only from published statistics.

Questions about this page

What can an ordinary citizen do to help India become a developed country by 2047?

Do specific things at your own level: in your family, your work, your neighbourhood and your civic life. The 47 BH action library lists 169 such actions across all 47 sub-pillars of the framework, from reading to a child and checking your blood pressure to paying suppliers on time and keeping waste out of rivers. Each action is tied to an indicator on the 47 BH report card.

How were these actions chosen?

47 BH drafted them from the framework and its cited sources. Each one is small enough for one person to do, is non-partisan, and is linked to an indicator the report card tracks. This is a first edition and the actions are being reviewed by subject experts.

Does 47 BH keep a record of what I commit to?

Only if you create an account. When you tap "I will do this", the 47 BH app asks you to sign up with WhatsApp, and your actions are then saved to your account so you can track them, mark them done and appear on the leaderboards. You can download your data or delete your account at any time. Browsing this page needs no account.

Does doing these actions prove that India's indicators improved?

No. Taking part is not the same as measured progress. The report card is built only from published statistics, and citizen participation is kept separate from it.

Can I suggest an action?

Yes. Write to hello@47bh.org with your answer to the question: what can I do, at my level, so that Bharat becomes developed in 2047? Good suggestions are reviewed and may be added.
